On a spur of the moment decision I decided to go to the fabric shack today. It is a 2 hour drive but I had the day off and it was raining so I thought what the heck.. Boy am I glad I did. This is my new favorite place.. I could have spent thousands in there today. I have never seen that much quilting material in one place. I got 10 1/2 yards of material for 48 bucks. that includes 3 yards of Kona Cotton. WOW
They had so much clearance material that was from 3 to 5 dollars a yard. I know I will have to go back. Hopefully soon.

I LOVE the fabric shack, I get in soooooo much trouble there. I don't know if I ever got any deals that good. I used to shop there scrap tables but they raised the scrap prices. they are an hour away from me, I can spend hours in there.

Yes that is a fabulous fabric store. I am about 90 minutes away. I don't go very often because of the distance and I would spend too much money.

It is a great place especially if you are needing any items for a project. Just looking is fun too.
I used to eat at the Der Dutchman just down the road til it burned last year.

I have also window shopped Fabric Shack online. Not quite as much fun as going to the store but still a lot of fun.

Oh boy - I "feel" a red and white quilt in your future! Unless, of course, you are going to add a like assortment of black and white to spice things up! LOL Great fabric selection and great deal for sure.
