If this is a first quilt, I can't even imagine where you are going from here. Great job.

Your long list of firsts came to fruition in this beautiful quilt. I love the fabric, design and scalloped borders.

The whole quilt is gorgeous. I love the fairy appliques in the stars and the scalloped border. Maybe one day I will be good enough to attempt something like your quilt.

Lovely quilt. I have a quilt that I'm going to start cutting that has a scalloped border. Don't know if I want to attempt it though. :?:

Thank you so much all, as this was a first in so many ways, I did not pre-wash my fabric...oh I wish I would have come to this board so much sooner!!! It shrunk 4" both ways! At least it shrunk evenly but I just couldn't believe it. I shall never make that mistake again!!! The pattern came from the book - Small Blocks Beautiful Quilts, it is the Northern Lights pattern. She did hers in Navy, Browns and green with Muslin for the blocks, no border. I just fell in love with it!
