    That's lovely! I think they chose just the right width for the pink sashing. What a treasure!

    I love family quilts, they are great treasures. Two years ago I made one for My husband for our 50th,with patriotic sashing and borders. Each block had a picture of each one of our family. He loved it. then a year ago I made one that was a tree with Our names on the trunk, the roots were our ancesters, and the fruit on the tree were hearts with the names of our children and grandchildren.If I ever get my son to teach me how to put on photos I will post them. I enjoy seeing all the quilts posted here.

    Awesome family quilt!!! For future generations you should document who all the people are who signed the quilt.
