This is my favorite coat...the tiger eyes on the back are free motion embroidery...I love animal print fabric and wild things!

This is lovely. What is free motion embroidery? Does this mean the maker did this all free hand like FMQ thread painting with absolutely no computer aided design/pattern? The embroidery was all done by the maker moving the hoop back and forth on their own?
