My best friend, became old and frail, and began missing alot of church, becuase of her health.

I had everyone in church write out prayers for her, and I cyanotype printed them into butterfly shapes.

She loved the quilt until the day she died. It brought her alot of comfort.

I just realized I have never shown this.

That's so cool. I had to look up cyanotype and I learned something new today. Beautiful quilt.

Oh how beautiful. I am sure she treasured it immensely. You'll never know just what a difference you made in her life--till you see her again. The entire quilt is just so beautiful, the signatures, the poem, the picture: all of it.

Thanks for sharing. I'm sure your heart is breaking but you've done two wonderful things: making the quilt for your friend and sharing with us. These stories encourage the rest of us to do the difficult task of caring for family and friends when they need us the most.
