    He did a fabulous job and will remember this quilt long after it is worn. Thanks for introducing your young man to a creative outlet. So often that side of us is lost in childhood and harder to recover as we get older.

    What a great quilt and I'm happy that he has expressed an interest in quilting, all quilters don't have to be female, as there are some great male quilters. Good for you, for encouraging him.

    That is what he said. He said more guys would be interested in sewing (young people in general) if we adults would let them work with fabrics that they find fascinating/interesting.

    I make a lot of charity quilts. Great to start them early. Such a good feeling when you "pass it on".
