Beautiful. Isn't it amazing that .5 inches can add so much to the dimensions?

Smile great quilt but would like to change size

I showed my grandson many quilts, and this one he fell in love with. I need to make a similar quilt but want to do a bed sized double. I wonder if you have any idea of how I could do that?
I can piece well...and a great hand quilter, but math and changing sizes is definitely out of my box.

[QUOTE=Eddie;762562]Below are pics of my first bargello quilt that I finished while ago. I made it from a pattern called "Surf Song" from the book called "Twist-and-Turn Bargello Quilts" by Eileen Wright.

The pattern in the book is for a wall hanging that's 46.5" x 48.5", but I wanted mine to be larger so I increased the dimensions of the squares in it all by 0.5" both horizontally and vertically, so my finished quilt size is 66" x 67".

Great quilt!!!!!!!!! You should do a tute on how to do this so that people like me who are afraid of doing one, might try one. Keep up the good work.

Well again this is a fantastic quilt. So colorful with dancing like waves. Your quilting following the curves really makes them pop. Great job. I'm not sure but it seams like you haven't been posting for a while. Great to see your work again.

In the book Twist and Turn Bargello Quilts by Eileen Wright, there is a Surf Song that is 98x 96. Would that work for you??

Simply gorgeous! I am working on Surf Song as well ... just about 14 more rows to go. I am making a lap size.

Could you tell me more about your quilting? I plan to quilt mine with long curves as well but haven't thought it through yet.
