    That is beautiful! I love the colours. Did you quilt the waves with a walking foot and 'eyeballing' the line or did you draw it? I've recently fallen in love with batiks and this is a great pattern for them. :-D

    I just eyeballed it from one corner of each piece diagonally across to the other corner.

    Having seen Sir Eddie's thread, I ordered the book, and thought you might be interested in knowing that author's first quilt was a bargello (if I remember the story correctly) and she finished it, ready to do the next one!

    Your bargello is really stunning. The squares look so small - what size are they? I don't think I have the patience to do something so detailed - but I'm working on it! Thanks for sharing.
