Default My first Bargello

Look what I did while I was waiting for some batting to arrive

This started life as two packs of 8 colour-graded fat eighths.

The same day I bought these, someone on the forum mentioned the Bargello-Sketcher free software, so I downloaded that and had a play .

The centre section came out at about 52 inches by 28 inches - a size which is no use to anyone lol. The shop had no more of the original packs so I had to colour-match as best I could, and added the curved log cabin blocks and border. The piece ended up at approximately 60 inches square.

I'm really pleased with the warmth of the colours together.

I feel there's at least one more bargello in me.... he he

    Thanks for looking.
    Cheers, K

That came out beautifully! I'm going to have to check out that software.

What a wonderful improvisation. I've been wondering about that sketcher. I have it downloaded but haven't really looked at it seriously. You've encouraged me to give it a go.
