    I think you will enjoy making it. It calls for quilters grid flannel to help keep your rows straight, but I couldn't find any so I just used W & N and drew a 2" grid myself with a water soluable pen. After I had made it one lady ask me if I did it on the longarm machine, which I hadn't even thought to do. She said that if she did one she would do it on the longarm using her horizontal lock so that she could just whiz thru it. Wish I would have thought of that. Maybe next time.

    The blue pattern you did is by far the most interesting one on that site. Very nice job.

    Actually it was easy and made sense. You start with the center stripe and work your way to the right until all those stripes are done and then you start from the center after turning the quilt 180 degrees and work all of those stripes. That way you only have half or less of the fabric that you are passing thru the machine. I was really skeptical about it until I started on it and was pleased to see how it worked. You should try it.

    That same pattern was my first one too. I made it thru a class. The teacher called it "twisted ribbon". Mine is purple and blue
