I am so encouraged by the responce, thank you.
From my experience making this block, I can say that it was made easy by having accurate pieces (no variances) stitching with a straight line (assisted by using a Machine Sewing Guide, Westalee Design), keeping a perfect scant quarter and pressing, not ironing, as instructed. My wife has been quilting for more than 30 years and she is a very good tutor

I had a very good teacher (my wife) Using my wifes new template set and following the instructions to the letter, I managed to get a good result. I admit I had to unpick some stitching a couple of times but I was happy with the points.
