My first -completed- quilt
So I am a new quilter, Ive been fooling around with lots of patches and teqniques. BUT this is my first COMPLETE quilt. I quilted it and everything all by myself! lol
I did free motion "stich in the ditch" for the quilting. I messed up in a few places, but hey I'm learning. This is a gift for a co-worker who is having a baby boy. My sister is also having a baby boy around the same time and I am making another quilt just like this one for her!
Im excited to show it off!

I got all my fabric from Joanns, and you might not be able to see it in the pics but the grey patches are all kinds of woodland animals, bears, turtles, racoons, etc etc. The backing material is a soft cuddly cotton. I didnt follow any kind of pattern. I cut the squares out with my GO! baby cutter and just peiced the squares together.
Yay
