I would keep the purple, but I always put my "POP" color in the center square, I think it makes the perfect accent rather than one of the "fitting in colors"! JMHO

I like the purple, but not the two blues. One blue would be fine,
    you need more variety/color.
Personally I would leave the blue tree fabric out and use another color. Maybe audition a green.(?) Cut some blocks out of a couple different fabrics and just lay them onto of the blocks and see what appeals to you.

Beautiful choices of fabrics. Love the purple in there. Will make a gorgeous quilt. Post pics when done please.

very pretty and I too love to do the disappearing 9 patch, I have one started in Christmas fabric. I seem to buy Christmas fabric even when I have two shelves full

I like the purple. I would keep it if I were you it just makes the whole square come to life.

What do you think? I haven't gone past the point of no return, yet, so if the general consensus is "no good" It's ok. ;) My alternative possible thought is to use the blue again instead of the purple...I really love the purple fabric, just not sure if I love it in this combo.
I think it adds a nice touch of warmth, like a brilliant sunrise on a winter day....It also adds a depth that wouldn't be there without the contrast.
