    I like the purple but not with the other fabrics in your block. You've placed that block on a brown background and, hey, that's not a bad color to put with your blues and grays! I kinda like the brown.

    That's my couch. My husband supports my quilting...BUT I don't think he'd support me cutting up the sofa to do it. :lol:

    The brown adds "warmth". Try it with a brown fabric. Seems the vote is for the purple but it seems too bright to me and detracts from the beautiful tree fabric. Brown is a nature color to go with the nature of the trees. But--again, there are no quilt police. If you like it, that's what's important.

    Keep the purple. It draws the eye to the tree line and actually allows the trees to pick up a tinge of purple.

    Purple and blue are the colors of dawn & dusk here in Alaska where the sun is low in the sky. It matches perfectly with your winter theme. Keep the purple.
