    Yeah, you need the purple. not enough contrast without it, I think

    The purple contrast is great...all quilts need a "zinger" fabric, I feel. However, I might have chosen a purple batik or marbled fabric. (but then I am VERY partial to batiks!)

    Love your color AND fabric selection! Don't change anything. Can't wait to see it finished. This is a gorgeous block and the quilt will be beautiful!

    When I look at quilts sometimes I see just the pattern, sometimes the colors, but with this I see story. I want to look at it and imagine. Please keep it as it is.:)

    Love the fabrics, very beautiful. Keep the purple, like the others I think it the "pop" that the other fabrics need to keep the block from being just to busy.

    Oh keep the purple it fits so good. Please please keep the purple in I think if you used the blue it would kind of all run together. From the computer it looks like the purple brings out the purple/blue color in the trees. The contrast of the purple looks GREAT!!!
