    Here is a pic of my latest quilt top, a Disappering 9-Patch made from batik scraps and remnants. I used 4½" blocks with the black as my center of each block. Using the Fiskars rotating cutting mat simplified a process that I dreaded. I credit that mat for making my first D9P a success. Am going to work on another one tonight. I used 5x5 blocks across and downwards. This will be quilted and given to my good friend Sam's sister-in-law, Michelle. She always treats me like family every time I visit Muscatine. She will be so surprised. Thanks for looking.
