Love the colors in your quilt, in2stitching! I like that the patterned block stands out with the batik looking ones. If I'm understanding this thingy-- you make BIG nine patch blocks than cut them into quarters and then arrange and sew together. Is that correct??

I have looked at this pattern for several days. Since it was first posted in the YBR "discussion", I have completed two UFO's and should complete one for a friend by this time tomorrow, now there is nothing in the way of making my own. I hope at least by the weekend, I will have a top done. Hope it turns out as well as the ones seen here. :thumbup:

cnolan, I love your fabric. The more I look at it, it reminds me of some of the feed sacks that Grandma used to use in her quilts. :)

Love the material. Have never heard of a disapearring 9-patch (the slashing/swapping part intrigues me). Can someone lead me to the pattern? It is most appreciated. Can't wait to see the finished quilt.

I am fighting a nasty battle with the worst bug/virus/flu I have encountered in years, so my top is still sitting without the final two border rows. :cry: Maybe tomorrow I will be able to sit at my machine long enough to finish it. :?
