    I made my first Dresdan Plate quilt. My first impression of it is that it is boring. Maybe the fabric choices are muted. My other problem is that I used broadcloth in the background squares, before I found out that you are not supposed to. I starched them and the quilt is a little stiff. Will the starch wash out well after I wash the quilt? Other than that I am happy the top is finished....Carole :|

    It is a very nice quilt, you will like it more as time goes on. Not sure why but that always happens to me. And yes, the starch will wash out.

    Looks good to me. A Dresden is one of my favorites and am wanting to make one soon. You did a great job.
