Great colors! I love your fabric choices. Very impressive for your "first ever quilt!" That babe is going to love it.

Quilts are not meant to be perfect (in my humble opinion). The loved stitched in every seam is what shows. This has the potential of being a favorite "blankie".
    What's next?
I have a plaid top together that I'd like to finish this weekend maybe. Shuffling off to Buffalo on Monday so might not get much done on that day.

:) :) Great first try. I have done 3-4 small projects. Still have problems matching seams, cutting off border corners, selecting a quilting pattern that is appropriate, marking a quilt and machine quilting. I seem to do better with hand quilting. However, I still consider myself a newbie. I joined a quilt guild and have attended several classes and learning more all the time. I have found the comraderie of the guild meetings and people I meet very encouraging and have several projects in the mill. I am attempting to do my first twin size quilt and have learned several ways to do it easier and faster. I guess it is just a matter of mind set. No matter, I still consider myself an addicted quilter and loving it. Keep it going.

You did great! Your binding is very well done and I think thats one of the hardest things to master. Bravo, now you are hooked!
My first quilt was so ripply and uneven I couldn't quilt it, but I hand knotted it and still have it. Your first quilt is special.
