    This is my first try at FMQ. I didn't get the back tight enough. So the fabric bunched up on me. Also, didn't know about the walking-foot till I was half done. But feel it still looks awesome.

    Great job, like the corner effect!!! You did better than me, I'll stick to my hand quilting,LOL!!

    I think you did well for your first attempt. But are you talking about a darning or hopping foot? The walking foot is used for straight line quilting or quilting in the ditch. A darning or hopping foot is used for FMQ.

    Ok. It was the walking foot. But only half way thru. to start with I dropped the feeddogs and used my regular sewing foot. Didn't talk to anyone till I had purchased the walking foot so used that to finish.

    You did a beautiful job on your quilt and on the quilting :D:D:D

    I have to admit I never thought to use gloves with the sticky dots on them. My hands really hurt when I got done.
