You can find dresden kaleidoscopes online. It is not my invention. I just put my spin on it when I wrote my Ebook. The kaleidoscope can be done several ways and it is always intersting to me to see the variations. This is one I hadn't seen. It is just what you like that determines the style chosen by the quilter. They are done in 4 blades or stack and whack or the one block wonder and the Dresden Kaleidoscope.

Have you seen the virtual section of the One Bock Wonders and other Kaleidoscope threads?

Thanks for sharing pic. This board is definitely the place to get the motivation to finish all those WIP's.

Kaleidoscopes fascinate me. When I first got into them I made my Dresden version into hotpads and trivets. They didn't sell as well as the tiny piecing but I loved them. They are so addictive!
I've just gotta see how the next one comes out!

I love the subtle look too Linda and agree that kaleidoscopes don't always have to scream at you to be effective. Your quilting sets it off a treat - and this thread is now IN that Virtual Section that Rhonda was talking about! ;) :D

I hope everyone can take a moment and check out the virtual section for all kinds of great info. It is easier to find all of one like subject in one place.

If you don't have a link and don't know how to get there just go click on home. Scroll towards the bottom and you will see user defined sections. Click on that and it will take you to the list of virtual sections.
There is some great stuff there!!

It's so pretty. I just love that pattern. I've made one Kaleidescope but really want to make another one. Nice job, thanks for sharing.

I find myself buying fabrics for kaleidescopes now too. Does getting the fabric make them automatically unfinished projects, or do you have to start them first? Smiles and hugs all.
