I love scrappy, you did a very nice job it is beautiful. Can't give any advice on what fleece to use but your quilt looks wonderful.

I'm so glad you decided to pay to have this quilted. You spent so much time and effort making these beautiful blocks and I just know you will be much happier having it quilted rather then tied. Can't wait to see it finished.

Ditto.......Definitely a 'No Pill' fleece if you decide to use fleece.

yep decided to have someone quilt this for me! My husband and I went to Joann's and used the 40% coupon for the backing. We also got Cotton Classic Batting. Says it is 100%Organic Cotton and will create a flat antique look. I don't think I will wash it, because the most of the pieces that I have in my quilt have not been wash either. So I think I will let them all shrink together :)

I am now sewing the blocks together. I hope to have the top done soon and I will post the picture of it before i get it quilted.

I just saw your avatar quilt & it is amazing! Is it a Karen Stone pattern? I've had one similar to that I bought as a kit several years ago, but all I've done with it is look at it every once in a while. Yours is awesome! Just had to let you know. Sharon

I have my first border on, it is 5". The quilt with the first border now measures 93 x 103. And it still doesnt hang like I want it to on our bed. ugh! I want to add one more border. I can not decide if I should do a 6" or an 8" border.

    What do you all suggest?

    Thanks for all your help!
