After seeing all the beautiful bags, I wanted to make one. It sounds so easy. It's not the piece of cake I expected it to be. I finished but don't expect to make another one.
As you can see, my thoughts are mostly geared toward Airedale stuff. This will go to a Rescue auction.

I do have a question about the opening in the bottom used to turn the bag - will that remain opened and just hidden under the board?

I just whip stitched it shut by hand. But you are right, the resulting seam will be covered by the board.

I love your bag! I'll bet it brings a lot at the auction.

Very nice bag. I only made one, but I just left it open since it is covered by the board.

I whip stitch mine closed. Not necessary but it gives it a more finished look. I did not like making the 1st one but have made 3 more and it goes faster and is easier.

I slip stitched mine close. They do get easier after the first one. Yours is cool. I bet it raises lots of money. Thanks for sharing.

I love your Bow Tuck. As good as it looks I'm surprised you wouldn't want to make more

The bag is cute and the Airdales are one of my favorite puppys.

I too, just whip stitch that opening closed. I don't want to have "stuff" getting in there. : ))
The first one is the hardest.......I've now made 12 and have 5 more cut out ready to sew.... : )
