Sharon, you did a nice job on those blocks. Glad you were willing to step out of the comfort zone....it was worth it!

I really like the pinwheel in the log cabin - never have seen that pattern before. Very pretty. - Cynthia

I didn't have internet for the weekend and came back to pages and pages of positivity. What an ego boost!! Thank you so much for all the positive feedback. The idea of the pinwheels inside the log cabin and the fabric choices were not mine since it was for a Bee. But I am pleased I was able to make some decent blocks and conquered a fear. :)

Beautiful work! I want to make a scrappy throw to go with a 4 or 5 colored spring sampler wallhanging and have been trying to decide what to put in the wallhanging, and then carry one block to the throw, but make it scrappy, but including some fabrics from the wallhanging, too. I have already planned a log cabin block and a pinwheel block as two for the sampler, but haven't picked a block for the scrappy. I could incorporate two blocks from the wallhangiing if I used this idea. Thanks for sharing.

Yep. Never saw a log cabin like that. Must be a fast paced household. All that whirling around in the middle.
