    I'm using a 1/4 inch and obviously larger strips to try to minimize the weight as we live in Texas I am afraid when it is finished, even with the lightest batting and a light flannel back it will be to thick and heavy to use. But it's what he wanted. Thank you for suggestions and praise. They mean a lot.
