This is my first applique ever , I made it a few years ago for a co-worker. She was so excited to get it.

    That is just adorable!!
I am working on my 1st machine applique. I used a bottonhole type stitch that seemed to go over it a couple time in a stitch. I had trouble with the points and small turns. I think I need more practice or a better understanding of how to do this technique. Way to go on yours it is cute cute cute!

I have a blanket stitch on my machine. It just takes alot of practice. I had so much fun making this, I didn't want to part with it.

I love that! I've been wanting to make a quilt like this for a baby girl--one of my twin step-daughters is pregnant, and so far they say it is 90 % sure it's a baby girl. Will know for sure at the end of the month. She is guardedly excited--she already has 4 boys!
