    I made this quilt for my brother for Christmas 2009.

    This was the first time I worked with a plaid type material. Thankfully the shop I purchased it at told me not to try to cut with the lines or I would go nuts. I thanked her profusely for saving me many hours of frustration and tears.

    This is also my first king size quilt and the first time I worked with homespun material.

    Then lastly, this is the first quilt I tied to finish.

    That has to be one of the prettiest homespun fabric quilts I have ever seen. It is simple yet very striking! Great job!

    I like that and so would my son. The colors are perfect for a guy quilt. I love the plaid. You did a great job and thanks for sharing.
