Love it, the black really makes the colors pop, great.

Turned out great, love how the scrappy colors are accented with the black and white.

It turned out very nice, I like the black sashings. I just taught this quilt in 2 workshops and you did a great job. I make these for donations and it is so nice to use up the scraps for a good cause.

I did not really follow a pattern, just copied one I saw in a quilt store. The blocks are squared to 6 1/2 inches, the sashing is 2 1/2 inches including seam allowance. I did 6 blocks by 8 rows. Final measurements are 48 x 63. PM me if you have any questions.
Is it what I call "Crumb" quilting, like Bonnie Hunters pattern, http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2005/...bs-crumbs.html
YES! I followed Bonnie Hunter's crumb quilt instructions. I also read several mile a minute web sites. I liked the fact that as long as I made my seams straight, I did not have to use a foundation!

No foundation! Just be sure your seams are straight and it should lie flat. Check out Bonnie Hunter's instructions for a Crumb Quilt, that is what I used. But everywhere else it is called mile a minute because you supposed can sew that fast! :)

Because you are supposedly able to sew so fast that you go a mile a minute or use up a mile of scraps in a minute..I think!?!?! Something like that...it sounds good anyway! :)

Looks great! I still have a hard time doing a total scrappy quilt. I may have to try again though - yours looks really good!
