    I wish I had the patience/skill/stamina to do something like that. First, I couldn't sew a straight seam allowance to save my liver, so larger blocks suit my style better. I prefer the hand work - applique, hand-quilting, etc. I do machine work when I put the borders on and sashing, but the bigger the blocks the better for me.

    :hunf: That's why I keep a trash can handy when I quilt. Every piece of fabric smaller than, oh 4 inches square goes in, never to be seen again. The quilts made from scraps are really pretty, but I know I'll never make one, so I don't abide having scraps around. More power to all you piecers. I admire your work so much.

    Love these quilts! Each is unique surprise! Great job - the sashing & cornerstones really set off the blocks!
