    The colors and the quilt really work. I hope my first quilt turns out this pretty.
    I'm quilting a cheater quilt now, but I don't count that.

    Thank you all for the nice comments. It makes me feel so good. I really wish I had time to quilt this one; I am going to learn to hand quilt and I have not done that yet. I might give it to her the way it is and tell her I will quilt it. Or I could use the ties and give it to her finished. Opinions?
