    The center part is paper pieced.

    I used the free pattern from the German website "lenzula.de" There are several different patterns and I used the beginner one.

    It really wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. So if you've been "wanting to try it but you're scared of the curved pieces", go for it!! You'll be surprised how easy it is!
