Beautiful, thanks for sharing, and enjoy your quilting class. If you can find the designs "Twice Quilted, Continous Line Quilting Designs", I think you'll be on your way!. I've used these designs many times, using a disappearing marker to start the placement of the main image, and go from there...

Beautiful!! I too share your love for Asian fabric. I will be making an Asian inspired Bento Box quilt this weekend, needless to say, I am really looking forward to the out-come!!
