I decided to try paper piecing the other day. Of course, I couldn't start with a beginner block or anything because that might have been way too easy, lol. I really frustrated myself at times, but I am very happy with the finished block. I might make a few more for a small wall quilt, but I haven't decided yet. The pattern is from Piecemeal Quilts.

Ohhh too cute!! My first PP'n project was Candlequilter's Star block....After doing mine with typing paper, I immediately went out and bought the proper paper, Carol Doak's, before I did another one....I'm really liking this PP'n technique....

Well you are certainly correct - you didn't start with an easy project :) Congratulations on succeeding, I struggled at first but am a pp freak now!
