You did great, Mary! You have a wonderful eye for color and I just love how it's not in need of a bed skirt that it almost touches the floor! Welcome to the board from VA!

    My, that is pretty.
For a first pieced quilt you have done a wonderful job.
    Love your color combinations.

    Welcome to the board.

I agree, I love the length going all the way to the floor. Some of that will disappear (a couple inches?) when it is quilted but still, magnificent! I always make my quilts for my beds a bit bigger than the pattern calls for because I love it when it drapes over the edges of the bed.

    Welcome, Mary! :D

I can't believe that's your first pieced quilt. It's so beautiful and I agree with the others that the colors are perfect. Wonderful job!

This was taken after it was quilted. I turn that binding uner so wouldn't lose that much.

I LOVE these colors. They look so "authentic"....like made in a prairie home. Really beautiful and cozy.

I started piecing them three years ago. I did a block of the month first & that is what got me started.
