Your quilts are gorgeous. And like most quilters you give them away. How about the next one for you

Welcome to the board, I luv them all. My favorite is the quilt for your niece is that a disappearing nine patch with a HST alternating? What is the size of your diappearing nine patch if you don't mind me asking?

I'm not sure what a disappearing 9-patch is. I started with a 4.5"x4.5" square and added 2.5" strips along the sides to build the blocks. I cut the solid blue and purple squares at 2.5"x2.5". So, the raw block measured 6.5"x6.5". As for the diagonal blocks, I cut 7"x7" blocks and cut them diagonally. As an after thought, I think I should have added two more rows and one more column....that would have eliminated the huge border. I plan to steer away from huge borders for my future quilts. :) Hopefully, I've answered your question(s).

I am almost done with my own quilt. Hopefully, I'll have it finished within the month. :)

I appreciate your encouragement. I have a large family -- several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. I'm almost done making a quilt for myself and for my best friend. Next, on my agenda are quilts for my 3 aunts. Hopefully, I'll have those done in time to give them as Christmas gifts. :)
