    There really isn't a pattern. I bought Carol Doaks Book 9-Patch Star picked the ones I liked and reproduced them in the EQ6 so I could figure the layout and colors. I like 9 inch blocks better than 12 inch so I used 3 1/2 paperpiecing templete from her cd that is attached to the book.

    I never pp'd before so it took me a few trys to get the hang of it. I just measured each section of the block figured out how much and what size to cut of each piece and went for it. The nice thing about pp is that you don't have to cut bias strips, I just cut strips for the width and then again for the length. I figured it out as I went along.

    This awesome quilt demonstrates why PP is great for perfect points etc.
