    Was the zipper easy on this? I really love this bag but shy away from zippers.

    yes the zipper was much easier then I thought. I read that her instructions for the zipper was detailed and easy and it was. This was pretty easy to make overall. It got sort of thick in sewing with the batting and the interfacing but otherwise it was not too hard at all. I am by no means experienced at sewing.

    It looks wonderful! Great accomplishment for you. Good job! I am in the same category as you, new to sewing overall an never did a zipper, maybe I can try this one too. I just did the bow tucks a couple of days ago and it worked, felt pretty accomplished :D I also love the fabrics you used.
