    I used "Ditter's string quilt" tutorial that included a great tutorial with lots of good photos on how to join the blocks. I did white sashing on one side and black sashing on the reverse side (my photos of the results, using Ditter's tutorial, can be seen in my "Declared war on my scrap bag" post, in case Ditter's method would work for your project.)

    What a great quilt...both sides are so interesting to look at...my favorite block in the top picture is the sherbert colors block that is in the middle of the bottom row. Of course, that could change any minute!
