    Beautiful quilt and lovely kitties...that is how I started as well and after the first one I was HOOKED, too. Love 30's quilts and love your work!!!

    Quite an undertaking for a first quilt. It's beautiful. I have made 2 GFG, and am working on another hexagon only in diamond shapes. I like that you appliqued the flowers to blocks. I may have to borrow that idea for my next one if you don't mind. May be a bit less time consuming than the regular way.

    Actually, by the time I had made all the flowers I was tired of making hexagons. That's when I thought of appliqued blocks. :]
