I absolutely love it, and for so many different reasons. First of all, I think it turned out terrific. I love the embroidered blocks, and the fabrics you picked to go with them. I really love the fact that you just went with it and designed your own quilt. I really turned out great. I'm sure they will love it.

It gets an A+++ for your first quilt. I love it. Thanks for sharing. You will have lots of fun quilting, because you think outside the box.

You should be very, very proud of your work! It is just adorable and very well made. I'm sure it will be treasured by the parents for many years to come. And for your next project? Don't stop now--you're on a roll!! Go for it, girl! <3

No matter how you did it, it turned out beautifully. I am sure it will be a much loved blankie when the little one is a bit older!

The right way is not always the satisfactory way - and your way turned out beautifully!!! It is just such a lovely quilt.. made with love from you!!! They will love it - - personally I like a quilt that you can see a right side up block from any direction - not that it all lays in a perfect pattern; you did a great job - don't feel badly about it - I sure would not!
