I can't believe that this is your first quilt. You are very talented.

It is absolutely beautiful!!! You were wise to sew as well as "bond". It will keep those edges beautiful. Thanx for sharing.

That is so beautiful. I saw the title "My First Quilt" and opened it. It took my breath away.

Then I thought back to my first quilt (30 years ago)and started laughing at myself--what did I know about quilting.

I had a baby panel I wanted to quilt for a dear friend. I was so proud of myself and happier when the mother-to-be loved it. I told my aunt later about it. She made the most gorgeous quilts and asked to see it but I had already given it away.

We had a good laugh when she told me I was supposed to hide the knots. I begged my friend to give it back to me so I could requilt it but she said no she loved it just as it was. Believe me those knots are well hidden now!
