    It must be satin....look at that shine! Very pretty. My only suggestion would be to use cotton: much easier to work with and much less raveling edges. However, you seem to be able to handle that shiny, slippery fabric just fine!

    It's very pretty, and I suspect you will come up with alittle different designs that will be very pretty too. You did great.

    Yes this is a satin with polyester in it. My cousin told me to buy that kind of satin. It was a bear for sure almost gave up on this . However with a rotary cutter my cousin said get the pinking shear cutter blade and that really helped with NO FREY ! It took me 3 months to finish it . Thank you all for the very nice compliments and will probably use cotton on the next one.

    I really like what you have done. It is very classic looking and I'm sure you daughter will LOVE it! The white looks as if it is glistening - is it cotton or something else?
