My first quilt was made for my great nephew and was so inspired by the result I continue to make them. Do what your heart tells you to do. Your first quilt is beautiful! Did you also quilt it yourself? The flower design is lovely.

It's certainly nice enough to give away, but don't. It's your FIRST. Keep it always.

I think you did a wonderful job. It's a lovely quilt - certainly good enough to gift - but you might want to keep it. My first "quilt" was a Christmas tree skirt that I kept, but my first "real" quilt went to my granddaughter. Either way, you should be very pleased with your accomplishment.

Great quilt! Yes, by all means, keep this one. You can make another one for your friend.

Very pretty quilt and love the quilting. Give it away or keep it. Either way your first quilt is beautiful.

You did a great job on your first, and very pretty quilt. It is up to you of course, but I would keep it. If you haven't already, take pictures of all your quilts. You will be glad you did.
