    I finally finished last night. Have discovered that my least favorite part of the entire process is doing the binding...especially when I have to do it in a rush, crammed into a few days. Maybe it's not so bad if it's spread out over time, or so I'm hoping...

    You may have seen an earlier picture of this quilt on my machine quilting frame -- it's a Christmas present for my mother-in-law. I loved making this so much -- can't wait to do more!

    Wow if that is your FIRST quilt I think there is only beauty ahead of you and those you gift them with. A very lovely gift. I personally love making tops, not making quilts. Unfortunately its part of the whole package. When your done however its.. not that bad at all. :)
