    Here are some pictures of my first quilt. I took the easy way out (while I work on a "true" quilt) by making a raggedy edge quilt for our son for Christmas. He is into recycling everything so I used "old" denim from hubby's jeans etc. for the top and new flannel for the back. I learned how to write words with bleach and did some machine embroidery on some squares. It was fun making this quilt and I plan on making more. I bought some rag quilt scissors which really made the fraying part easy!

    Thank you! It's a very heavy quilt with all that denim. I think the next one I make will be made from various flannels, soft and warm too.

    That is a very nice denim raggy quilt! Never heard of bleach writing...how is that done?
