    Nice job on the quilt and you are right when you say so many patterns, so much fabric........ The longer I do this, the more I want to get done and the further behind I get. lol

    another easy quilt for a beginner (my first quilt) is a pattern called turning twenty. there are several books. Very easy. In fact I did mine in lavendar and purple like you first one.

    I love your quilt. I'm 60 something and I'd like that for me. I'm certain your granddaughter will lovelovelove it! I'm going to make one just like it...well almost. Thank you for sharing....
