    Default My First Quilts

I'm a new quilter and started out with applique quilting patterns from Shiny Happy World. I've just recently started a new quilt using a different pattern author and I just hope it turns out as well as my first three did! I learn more and more with each quilt - I'm just getting started. Thought I'd share my first three. These were for my granddaughter, my second cousin, and my best friend's new baby, respectively.

Wow! You've done wonderful with your first 3 quilts. My first quilt was just scrappy 2" squares. I would have never dreamed to start with applique. What fun, cute quilts.

Wow! If these are the first, I wonder what you will be doing in twenty years time.

You're a born quilter. They are adorable. Good work.

WOW! You are doing great and you are much more brave than I was when I started quilting. I started with a log cabin with just straight sewing. Fantastic applique work. Especially like the third one with all of the colorful animals on it. Great job on all.
