    You did as wonderful job on your scrappy. I'd for sure stick with a solid for the backing. I'm sure who ever gets this will love it and use it often.

    I'm a total sucker for scrappy, string quilts, and that one is beautiful. I think a solid color back would be wonderful, and you have a bunch of options for the color! Clearly the top is THE STAR!

    I like scrappy quilts. When I am looking for a backing color or even a sash color I kind of press my eyes and see which color in the quilt jumps out at me.
