This is such a colourful quilt. Too pretty to walk on. I do hope you are walking on it with no shoes on.

It looks great, but I would put a big sign "shoes off before you step on it!"

That's wonderful. You don't let anyone actually step on it, do you? Gives me shivers to think about it!

I agree with everyone else--too pretty for the floor! Isn't it amazing how all your scraps can work together to make something so beautiful?

That is a really nice quilt, it really dresses up the basement - wish my basement looked like that. Look at all the other quilts, chair covers, pillows, and wall hanging you have in there. I think the next time I do a string quilt, I'm going to use the same fabric in the center of each block like you did. The pattern it makes really stands out.

I have just cut 9" muslin squares to start a string quilt but I like the looks of yours if you wouldn't mind sharing the pattern or cutting measurements.
There is a tutorial in Missouri Star Quilt Co .Make a Summer in the park Qilt Using Jelly rolls.

Pretty quilt and I love your sitting area. My aunt did the same thing with an old quilt, except she put it in her bathroom. It looked great with her claw foot tub.
