The "geometric" fabrics were precut, fat quarter bundles. On the second quilt, I ran short on one of the geometric prints so I substituted the very dark grey, which was also a fat quarter. The border on the first quilt was off the bolt, and all the sashing and borders on the second quilt were also off the bolt.

I agree with helou!!! Do you want everyone to see the fabric or the pattern. If either is the "star" the other needs to be 2nd banana . I think you have a great " eye" developing for some fabulous quilts in the future!!!
